Soccer Recap: Tyner Academy Comes Up Short

Tyner Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Red Bank Lions. If the Rams were looking for revenge after losing 5-5 to the Lions when the teams met back in April of 2017, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Tyner Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Red Bank, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3-1.

Looking ahead, Tyner Academy will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Brainerd at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup will give Tyner Academy their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season. As for Red Bank, they will welcome Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
