Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Maine-Endwell walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Peru Nighthawks with a sharp 15-1 win on Saturday. Considering the Spartans have won seven matchups by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
Isabel Hunter was a standout: she got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three RBI and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaylee Hurba, who went 1-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double.
