Volleyball Recap: New Holstein Takes a Loss

New Holstein was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Kiel Raiders. The Huskies were not able to make up for their loss to the Raiders from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

While New Holstein was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Kiel's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-13, 26-24.

Makenna Bink paced New Holstein's offense, picking up six kills. Bink got some help from Makayla Meyer and her ten assists.

New Holstein's defeat dropped their record down to 5-22. As for Kiel, their win bumped their record up to 18-8.

New Holstein does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kiel, after both having extra time off, they and Wrightstown will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on the 23rd.
