After a string of 11 wins, Havre's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Billings Central Catholic Rams. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in August.

Havre started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 25-14, 25-18, 25-17.

Among those leading the charge was Kaitlyn Foster, who had 21 digs and three assists. That's the most digs she has posted since back in October of 2024. Abney Larson also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Havre's loss dropped their record down to 12-2-1. As for Billings Central Catholic, the win keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.

Havre and Billings Central Catholic will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Blue Ponies see the court they'll take on Malta at 6:00 p.m. on the 14th. As for Billings Central Catholic, their break will end when they face Hardin at 7:00 p.m. on the 14th.
