Jasper skates past Marion County with ease

Recap: Jasper Vikings vs. Marion County Red Raiders

The Jasper Vikings waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with 13 straight wins but they left with 14. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Marion County 74-46 at home. Jasper has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 contests by 23 points or more this season.

Jasper was led to victory by Missy Odom and Mia Hollingsworth. Odom scored 20 points along with five rebounds and two steals, while Hollingsworth scored 25 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Hollingsworth has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 11 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Hallie Harrell, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and two steals.

Jasper has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 19 of their last 20 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 23-4 record this season. As for Marion County, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-13.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jasper will take on the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Tarrant is coming into the match on a six-game losing streak. As for Marion County, they will head out on the road to face off against the Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mars Hill Bible has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 444 points over their last seven games.
