Volleyball Recap: Newfound Regional Takes a Loss

Newfound Regional lost against Portsmouth Christian Academy back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bears fell 3-1 to the Eagles.

While Newfound Regional had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-22, 21-25, 25-18.

Newfound Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Portsmouth Christian Academy, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Newfound Regional is set to take on their familiar foe Mascenic Regional at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Portsmouth Christian Academy will face off against rival Hillsboro-Deering at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
