After flying high against American Prep WV last Tuesday, Rockwell came back down to earth. The Rockwell Marshals took a 52-33 bruising from the Intermountain Christian Lions on Friday. The Marshals' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Elaine Lunsford continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Intermountain Christian, dropping a double-double on 22 points and 17 boards. Lunsford has been hot, having posted eight or more rebounds the last seven times she's played. Another player making a difference was Ellie Menning, who posted six points and six boards.

Rockwell's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 6-12. As for Intermountain Christian, they pushed their record up to 11-4 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.

Rockwell didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 48-25 win against Salt Lake Academy on the 21st. Intermountain Christian has also already played their next match, a 63-9 victory against Wasatch Academy on the 21st.
