Le Roy's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They came out on top against the Pavilion Golden Gophers by a score of 6-1. The Oatkan Knights haven't had any issues with the Golden Gophers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Le Roy's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Pavilion, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Le Roy will face off against Avon at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Oatkan Knights 3.7, the Braves 1.2) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Pavilion, they will challenge Wayland-Cohocton at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Golden Gophers surely won't give up without a fight.
