Eamon McDermott posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Saturday. He struck out 12 batters over 5.2 innings while giving up three earned runs off only two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts any time he's pitched this season.
