Basketball Recap: East Kentwood Takes a Loss

East Kentwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. The match between them and West Catholic didn't end well, with East Kentwood falling 57-40. While losing is never fun, East Kentwood can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 108th, while West Catholic is ranked fourth).

East Kentwood's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for West Catholic, the win was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-1.

East Kentwood didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 67-27 loss against Rockford on the 7th. As for West Catholic, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 58-51 defeat against South Christian on the 7th.
