Baseball Game Preview: Central Magnet vs. Tullahoma Wildcats

For the second straight game, Central Magnet will face off against Tullahoma. Central Magnet will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Tullahoma at 6:00 p.m.

Central Magnet's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-0 win over Tullahoma.

The result came thanks to Justin Morris's shutout, as he gave up just six hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Central Magnet's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Mitchell Coons, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.

The win got Central Magnet back to even at 10-10. As for Tullahoma, with the defeat, they broke their 18-game winning streak and moved their record to 18-7.
