Baseball Recap: Manila Comes Up Short

Manila lost against Harrisburg back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lions fell 6-1 to the Hornets. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Manila's loss dropped their record down to 14-4. As for Harrisburg, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Manila will host Bay at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Harrisburg, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Walnut Ridge at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. The last three games the Bobcats have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
