Volleyball Recap: Oceanside Comes Up Short

Oceanside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against the Mt. Carmel Sundevils, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Sundevils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on October 3rd.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-15, 25-18.

Oceanside's loss dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Mt. Carmel, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 19-13.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Oceanside is set to square off against their familiar foe La Costa Canyon at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Mt. Carmel will face off against rival Mission Hills at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
