Softball Recap: Highland Comes Up Short

Highland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 18-0 to the St. Pius X Sartans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hornets of the 19-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Highland's loss dropped their record down to 2-17. As for St. Pius X, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-12.

Coming up, Highland will challenge Atrisco Heritage Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for St. Pius X, they will square off against Belen at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
