Baseball Recap: Upper Scioto Valley Comes Up Short

Upper Scioto Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Hardin Northern Polar Bears, falling 13-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rams of the 17-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Upper Scioto Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Hardin Northern, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Upper Scioto Valley will take on Jackson Center at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hardin Northern, they will face off against Cory-Rawson at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
