Volleyball Recap: Lourdes Comes Up Short

Lourdes lost against Montello back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Knights took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hilltoppers. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Anika Leitch paced Lourdes' offense, picking up nine kills. Leitch got some help from Celia Ralofsky and her 18 assists.

Lourdes' defeat dropped their record down to 17-11. As for Montello, the win was the 14th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 24-4.

Coming up, Lourdes will face off against Horicon at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Montello, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Royall on the 27th.
