Recap: North County Knights vs. Old Mill Patriots
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for The North County Knights, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They were beaten by Old Mill 30-0 on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 33 points in the game before, North County couldn't push the score so high this time.
Darius Burley threw for 44 yards on seven of 21 attempts. William Jacobs was his top target, picking up 26 receiving yards.
North County's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Old Mill, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.
North County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Old Mill will face off against Glen Burnie at TBD on Friday. Glen Burnie is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
