Volleyball Recap: Rialto Takes a Loss

Rialto suffered their biggest defeat since April 2nd on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Fontana Steelers. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Steelers this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-1 defeat back in March.

While Rialto had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-19, 25-21.

This is the second loss in a row for Rialto and nudges their season record down to 12-11-1. As for Fontana, they pushed their record up to 15-7 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home.

Coming up, Rialto will welcome San Gorgonio at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fontana, they will challenge Whitney at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
