Prospect Mountain has gone a perfect 4-0 against Monadnock recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Timberwolves are taking a road trip to face off against the Huskies at 4:00 p.m. Prospect Mountain will be looking to extend their current 14-game winning streak.
On Monday, Prospect Mountain needed a bit of extra time to put away Newport. They skirted past the Tigers 3-2.

Alexis Wilson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out 16 batters over eight innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. Those 16 strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
Wilson wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Paige Harding, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Monadnock, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top against Fall Mountain by a score of 11-6 on Wednesday. The Huskies haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.
Autumn Desimone-Jay spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned (and one unearned) runs on nine hits and racked up six Ks.
On the hitting side, Shaylee Branon was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Gracie Dean, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double.
Prospect Mountain's victory was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.1 runs on average over those games. As for Monadnock, their record is now 10-1.
Both Prospect Mountain and Monadnock just can't seem to miss. The Timberwolves have been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 10.3 hits per game. However, it's not like Monadnock struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 4 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Prospect Mountain took their victory against Monadnock in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 10-1 score. Do the Timberwolves have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Huskies turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
