Volleyball Recap: Sumter County Comes Up Short

Sumter County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Taylor County Vikings. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Tuesday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-20, 25-9.

Sumter County's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Taylor County, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sumter County will welcome Chattahoochee County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Taylor County, they will be playing at home against Spencer at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
