Basketball Recap: Sophia Trinh's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Patterson Mill over North Harford

Patterson Mill lost against North Harford back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Patterson Mill fell to the North Harford Hawks 65-61.

Patterson Mill's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sophia Trinh, who posted 15 points along with eight boards and six steals. Trinh continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Abby Shertzer, who put up 17 points.

Patterson Mill's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4. As for North Harford, their win bumped their record up to 7-8.

Looking ahead, Patterson Mill will challenge Edgewood at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for North Harford, they will square off against Kenwood at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. North Harford is facing Kenwood at the right time seeing as Kenwood is stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
