Baseball Recap: Locust Fork Takes a Loss

Locust Fork was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 12-2 to the Dora Bulldogs.

Locust Fork saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Connor Bartlett, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases.

Locust Fork's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Dora, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 17-10 record this season.

Locust Fork wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 11-1 defeat against Vinemont on the 31st. Dora has also already played their next contest (against Ashville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
