Soccer Game Preview: Bolton vs. Covington

Bolton is 0-3 against Covington since April of 2022 but things could change on Thursday. The Bolton Wildcats are taking a road trip to challenge the Covington Chargers at 6:00 p.m.

It was a proper cat-fight when Bolton took on Brighton on Thursday. Bolton lost 8-0 to Brighton. That's two games in a row now that the Wildcats have lost by exactly eight goals.

Meanwhile, Covington had just enough and edged out Gibson County 3-2 on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Chargers in their matchups with the Pioneers: they've now won three in a row.

The victory got Covington back to even at 1-1. As for Bolton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Bolton might still be hurting after the 4-0 defeat they got from Covington when the teams last played back in April of 2023. Can Bolton avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
