Volleyball Recap: Friday's Win Is Oswego's Tenth in Last 12 Outings

Oswego posted their closest victory since April 7th on Friday. They skirted past the Barrington Fillies/Broncos 2-1. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 2-0 win the Fillies/Broncos walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Greyson Covay paced Oswego's offense, picking up nine kills. Covay really made an impact as he also led the team in assists with 21. He was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Oswego has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. As for Barrington, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 9-3 record.

Coincidentally, Oswego and Barrington will both be playing St. Francis the next time they take the court. The Fillies/Broncos will head out to face the Spartans at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Panthers will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
