Preview: Epiphany Falcons vs. Pamlico County Hurricanes
Two dominant in Thomas Lathan and Tariq Barber are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Epiphany Falcons will be home for the holidays to greet the Pamlico County Hurricanes at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 70-41, which was the final score in Epiphany's tilt against Liberty Christian Academy on Friday.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 66 points the game before, Pamlico County were a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They were outmatched by Jacksonville at home and fell 64-20. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Pamlico County has scored all season.
Epiphany bumped their record down to 3-8 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Pamlico County, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Epiphany suffered a grim 51-26 defeat to Pamlico County when the teams last played back in November of 2015. Can Epiphany avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
