Soccer Recap: Dekaney Comes Up Short

Dekaney was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Aldine Mustangs. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 726th, while the Mustangs are ranked 300th).

Dekaney's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Aldine, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-2 record this season.

A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Dekaney challenge the Spring at 7:30 p.m. on March 4th. As for Aldine, they will welcome MacArthur at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with MacArthur sitting on five straight wins and Aldine on six.
