Volleyball Game Preview: Columbia Wildcats vs. Ocracoke Dolphins + How To Watch

The Columbia Wildcats will head out to square off against the Ocracoke Dolphins at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Columbia came up short against Bear Grass Charter on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-7, 25-15.

The home team had come away the winner the last five times Ocracoke and Mattamuskeet had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Dolphins put the hurt on the Lakers with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday. The Dolphins have beaten the Lakers the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Lakers has come to flipping the script.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-16, 25-21.

Ocracoke's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Columbia, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.

Columbia couldn't quite get it done against Ocracoke when the teams last played back in October of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Wildcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
