Ashford win going away against Northside Methodist Academy

Recap: Ashford Yellowjackets vs. Northside Methodist Academy Knights
The third road game was the charm for The Ashford Yellowjackets, as they earned their first road win of the season. They put the hurt on Northside Methodist Academy with a sharp 40-20 win on Friday. This was payback for Ashford, who suffered a 31-28 loss the last time these two teams met.
Aaron Lewis was the offensive standout of the contest as he threw for 245 yards and four touchdowns on only 16 passes. Cameron Fields did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 171 receiving yards.
Ashford's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Northside Methodist Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ashford will challenge Opp at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Northside Methodist Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against New Brockton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. New Brockton is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home.
