Volleyball Recap: Batesburg-Leesville Picks Up Fourth Straight Win at Home

Batesburg-Leesville had won four straight at home, but on Thursday they bumped up to 14-17-1 to make it five. They blew past the Strom Thurmond Rebels 3-0. This was a revenge game for the Panthers: when they faced off against the Rebels back in September, they had to take a 3-1 loss.

Ella Cook paced Batesburg-Leesville's offense, picking up ten kills. Cook got some help from Molly Price and her 26 assists. Kadejah Blocker controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

As for Strom Thurmond, they now have a losing record of 7-8. As for they, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-8.

When it comes to explaining why Strom Thurmond lost, don't look at Mollie Bartley. Despite the final result, she had seven digs and two aces.
