LaGrange proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Vinton Lions, sneaking past 3-2. While the Gators didn't have the best season last year (they finished 12-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

LaGrange's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Vinton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. LaGrange will head out to face off against St. Louis Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Vinton, they will face off against Westlake at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
