Volleyball Recap: Clinton Snags Sixth Victory in Last Eight Games

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Clinton walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Roanoke Rapids Yellowjackets with a sharp 3-0 win on Saturday.

Clinton was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-17, 25-20.

Clinton has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season. As for Roanoke Rapids, they dropped their record down to 5-14 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road.

As of now, neither Clinton nor the Yellowjackets have any future games scheduled.
