Volleyball Recap: Jordan's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Saturday

It was a good run, but Jordan unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Duchesne Eagles. The Beetdiggers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Jordan's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Duchesne, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jordan will head out to square off against Juan Diego Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give the Beetdiggers their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Duchesne, they will head out on the road to challenge Tabiona at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
