Timber Creek got a good showing from Daniel Craig, who tossed three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. Craig has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Ethan Figueroa made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Timber Creek has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season. As for Sarasota, their victory bumped their record up to 12-3.

Coming up, Timber Creek will square off against Palmetto at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday. As for Sarasota, they will face off against Fort Myers at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
