Soccer Game Preview: George Washington Prep vs. Crenshaw

The George Washington Prep Generals are taking a road trip to take on the Crenshaw Cougars at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Last Friday, George Washington Prep didn't have quite enough to beat Jordan and fell 2-1.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Crenshaw was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor Dymally could gain the upper hand on Friday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

George Washington Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3-2. Crenshaw's draw makes their record 2-2-1 this season.

George Washington Prep was able to grind out a solid victory over Crenshaw in their previous matchup back in December of 2019, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for George Washington Prep since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
