North Greene is a perfect 7-0 against West Greene since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Huskies will look to defend their home field against the Buffaloes at 5:00 p.m. One thing working in North Greene's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last three games.

If North Greene beats West Greene with 13 runs on Thursday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two matches with that exact score. Everything went the Huskies' way against Chuckey-Doak on Wednesday as they made off with a 13-2 win. The Huskies might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 contests by six runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for West Greene, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They walked away with a 4-1 victory over University School on Tuesday.

Morgan Brown made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over seven innings pitched. Brown was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double.

In other batting news, Aubree Everett was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high.

North Greene has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for West Greene, their victory bumped their record up to 8-10.

North Greene took their win against West Greene in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 17-5 score. Do the Huskies have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Buffaloes turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
