Softball Recap: Southern Durham Spartans vs. Jordan Falcons
Southern Durham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 11-1 to the Jordan Falcons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Southern Durham of the 15-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.
Southern Durham saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Iyanna Scales, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.
On Jordan's side, the team relied heavily on Kylie Specht, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3. Aubrey Davis was another key contributor, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
