Basketball Recap: Valley View Extends Winning Streak to Three

You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Valley View on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 56-38 win over the Chico Dragons. While the Eagles didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-26), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Chico's loss came despite strong showings from Jordan Weiland and Taylor Weiland. Jordan posted six points in addition to ten boards and four steals, while Taylor put up seven points and three steals. Jordan is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least four every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Aron Mendoza, who had four points and three steals.
