Volleyball Recap: Chaparral Has No Trouble Against Highlands Ranch

Chaparral not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 1st. They blew past the Highlands Ranch Falcons 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Wolverines, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Chaparral never let Highlands Ranch on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-22, 25-16.

Cameron Beasley paced Chaparral's offense, picking up 12 kills. Beasley got some help from Joe Ponder and his 14 assists. Ponder was also solid from the service line: he led the team with five aces.

Chaparral's victory bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Highlands Ranch, they dropped their record down to 1-13 with the loss, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Chaparral will welcome Douglas County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Highlands Ranch, they are taking a road trip to take on Stargate School at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
