Giles is a perfect 9-0 against Floyd County since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Spartans are taking a road trip to challenge the Buffaloes at 6:00 p.m. Giles' offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for ten straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Giles fell victim to Radford and their airtight defense on Friday. They fell just short of the Bobcats by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, Floyd County also failed to score in their most recent game. They lost 7-0 to Patrick County last Thursday. That's two games in a row now that Floyd County have lost by exactly seven goals.

Giles' defeat dropped their record down to 1-13-1. As for Floyd County, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Giles got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in April against Floyd County by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Spartans since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
