            Royal Palm Beach hasn't had much luck against Wellington recently, but that could start to change  on Tuesday. Royal Palm Beach will head out to  challenge Wellington  at 6:00  p.m.
Royal Palm Beach is headed into Tuesday's   matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game  on Thursday. They took  an  8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of Somerset Academy - Canyons.
  Santino Spidalieri and  Robert Gonzalez stepped up to the plate in a big way.  Spidalieri  went 2-for-3 with one  stolen base and one  double, while  Gonzalez  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-4.
Meanwhile, Wellington hadn't done well against Park Vista recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way  last Friday. Wellington won by a  run and slipped past Park Vista  2-1. The  win was some much needed relief for the Wolverines as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
 Jhon Abreu made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out 12 batters over  seven innings while giving up just one earned run off   two  hits. Those  12  strikeouts gave  him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-2 with one  home run.
 Abreu wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Thomas Lograsso, who  went 1-for-2 with one  double and one  RBI.
 Wellington's record is now 12-7. As for Royal Palm Beach, their loss dropped their record down to 8-12.
 Royal Palm Beach suffered a grim  8-2 defeat to Wellington  when the teams last played  back in April of 2024. Can Royal Palm Beach avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
