Flag Football Recap: Stockbridge Takes a Loss

Despite a strong season so far, Stockbridge has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 13-12 heartbreaker at the hands of the Westside Seminoles. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia flag football rankings (they are ranked 167th, while the Seminoles are ranked 35th).

The critical scores for Westside came from Taylor Talton and Braeyonna Sams.

Stockbridge's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Westside, the win keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.

Stockbridge wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 26-0 defeat against Mary Persons on the 5th. As for Westside, they will take on Baldwin at 5:15 p.m. on Monday.
