Hillcrest Christian entered their tilt with Prairie View Academy on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Prairie View Academy Spartans 82-55. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 24 points or more this season.

Hillcrest Christian was led to victory by Jordan Johnson and Christion Wade. Johnson went 10 of 12 on his way to 20 points along with six rebounds and six steals, while Wade almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine boards. The dominant performance gave Wade a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of AJ Thompson, who posted eight points and four steals.

When it comes to explaining why Prairie View Academy lost, don't look at Abram Anthony. Despite the final result, he went 10 for 20 en route to 29 points in addition to seven boards and four steals. Anthony has been hot recently, having also posted two or more blocks the last four times he's played. Jayden McKoin was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on nine points and 11 rebounds.

Hillcrest Christian pushed their record up to 13-9 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.4 points per game. As for Prairie View Academy, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-13.

Hillcrest Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, an 87-47 win against Porter's Chapel Academy on the 31st. As for Prairie View Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 48-38 loss against Sylva Bay Academy on the 4th.
