Basketball Recap: Ayden Baxter's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Curry over Oakman + How To Watch

Curry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 64-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Oakman Wildcats. If the Yellowjackets were looking for revenge after losing 42-19 to the Wildcats when the teams met back in January, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Curry lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Ayden Baxter, who posted 23 points and six steals. That was a full 42.6% of Curry's points, marking the third time in a row Baxter has put up more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Player #22, who earned 15 points.

Curry's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Oakman, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Curry didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 72-22 loss against Cold Springs on the 20th. As for Oakman, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 65-35 win against Dora on the 18th.
