Soccer Recap: Plainfield Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Plainfield can now relate to. They came up short against the Granby Memorial Bears on Friday, falling 8-0. If Plainfield were looking for revenge after losing 6-1 to Granby Memorial when the teams met back in November of 2019, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Plainfield has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-8-3 record this season. As for Granby Memorial, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-3.

As of now, neither Plainfield nor the Bears have any future games scheduled.
