Baseball Recap: Milford Comes Up Short

Milford lost against Hollis-Brookline back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Spartans fell 12-7 to the Cavaliers.

Milford's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Hollis-Brookline, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Milford is set to challenge their familiar foe Pelham at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Hollis-Brookline will take on rival Oyster River at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Cavaliers 3.2, the Bobcats 2.5) so any runs scored will be well earned.
