Basketball Recap: Perry Comes Up Short

Perry lost to Brecksville-Broadview Heights on Saturday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Panthers fell 40-27 to the Bees. The game marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Despite the defeat, Perry saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Joey Luchitz posted eight points and five boards. Another player making a difference was Nico Martelli, who put up six points.

Perry has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-13 record this season. As for Brecksville-Broadview Heights, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 24-1.
