Volleyball Recap: Black River Falls Takes a Loss

Black River Falls was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Arcadia Raiders, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, with their most recent loss being a 2-0 defeat last Saturday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-15, 25-12.

Olivia Larkin paced Black River Falls' offense, picking up seven kills. Larkin got some help from Hayden Brown and her six assists. Victorie Pettibone controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Black River Falls' loss dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Arcadia, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season.

Black River Falls wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against West Salem on the 23rd. As for Arcadia, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Westby on the 23rd.
