Volleyball Recap: Dunsmuir's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three + How To Watch

Dunsmuir waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Surprise Valley Hornets with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on Thursday.

While Dunsmuir won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 27-25, 25-19.

Dunsmuir's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Surprise Valley, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Dunsmuir is set to face off against their familiar foe Hayfork at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Surprise Valley will challenge rival Butte Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
