Volleyball Recap: Siegel Stars vs. Green Hill Hawks

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Siegel can now relate to. They fell 2-0 to the Green Hill Hawks on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 last Wednesday.

George Stevens produced another solid effort getting 12 kills, five aces, and three digs for Green Hill. Stevens is crushing it when it comes to aces: he's served at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Lincoln Witt, who had 13 assists and one block.

Siegel has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season. As for Green Hill, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 16-1.
