Softball Recap: Northeast Bradford Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Northeast Bradford's offense. They fell 3-0 to the North Penn-Liberty Mountie on Monday. The Panthers have struggled against the Mountie recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Northeast Bradford's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for North Penn-Liberty, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northeast Bradford will venture away from home to square off against Sullivan County at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for North Penn-Liberty, they will head out to take on Williamson at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Mountie's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Warriors have averaged an impressive 8 runs per game this season.
